  Ross Eaton

Ross came to The Edgebrook Club as Tennis Director in April 2007.  Prior to coming to Edgebrook Club he was Director of Tennis at the Bainbridge Athletic Club on Bainbridge Island for 13 years.  He is a United States Professional Tennis Association teaching professional with over 20 years of service.  Ross is a USPTA/USTA certified specialist in Competitive Player Development of which he was one of the first 250 coaches in the nation to receive this certification.  For ten years he worked as a USTA Competition Training Center coach two of which he was the head coach for Washington State.  He is also USTA certified in all levels of sport science including Level 1 – Successful Coaching (Philosophy/Methodologies) and Level 2 - Sport Physiology and Nutrition, Biomechanics and Sport Medicine, Sport Psychology and Motor Learning.  He is certified by the USTA to train coaches in using Quick Start tennis for High Performance.  Ross has worked with players from 3 years old to those well over 80. He has helped players at every level of the game, having worked with complete novices to developing numerous collegiate level and nationally ranked players.  He has served on the Pacific Northwest USPTA board of directors as Pacific Northwest USPTA Treasurer, Vice President and President, was the 2001 Team Wilson Pacific Northwest Pro of the Year and the 2006 USPTA PNW Pro of the year.  He lives in Bainbridge Island, Washington with his wife April and their four children.
